MMR Sea of Whale Tails Project - Events 2012

Welcome the Whales to Australia
We would like to invite all local schools & community members to take part in the ‘Sea of Whale Tails’, as part of the educational program with Marine Mammal Research.com
The SWT project encourages communities to promote the protection of whales around the world. This project helps celebrate the annual humpback whale migration & conservation of all whales in Australian waters.
Cut out, colour & decorate your tail, write your name or a message on the back of the tail, wave it at the ocean to welcome the whales to our shore! Then come & place your whale tail at one of the SWT events listed below.
By creating a Sea of Whale Tails, we welcome the whales passing by the area & celebrate the importance of these marine mammals to Eden. Community members & whale watchers will help create this Sea of Whale Tails!

The whale tail template is available to download
If your school can’t attend the day’s events & would still like to be a part of the ‘Sea of Whale Tail’ project, then please cut out & decorate as many whale tail templates & send them to event contacts blelow so we can represent you & your school on the day
