THE SHOALHAVEN WHALE
Voyager Park Huskisson Sat May 31, 11am-12pm
Official naming by Glad Worthy

During the 2007 whale migration, the Shoalhaven ‘adopted’ a humpback whale.
‘The Humpback Icon Project’ (HIP) coordinated by IFAW (International Fund for
Animal Welfare), aims to raise awareness for the conservation and protection of
whales and dolphins inhabiting Australian waters and to celebrate the annual
humpback whale migration.
Be part of the ‘Whale Naming Ceremony’ as we reveal the name of the Shoalhaven whale!
at Voyager Park Huskisson.
Then enjoy a Humpback Whale Watch with “ Jervis Bay Whales “ in Jervis Bay Marine Park with MMR’s Dr Michelle (Lemon) Blewitt as she presents ‘Sounds of the Sea”
